Review a translation before you share it

A fluent translation can still change an important fact. A useful review compares meaning rather than asking only whether the output sounds natural. This is especially important when moving between Roman Urdu, Urdu script, English and Chinese, or when the source began as speech.

Start with a clean source

Paste a short, complete thought and select the intended source and target languages. Explain abbreviations in your source where possible. Roman Urdu spelling varies, and a short word can have more than one meaning without context. If the text came from OCR or voice recognition, correct that transcript first. A translator cannot reliably recover the intended meaning of a wrong name or a missing sentence.

Check five kinds of detail

Compare who is acting, what happened, when it happened, quantities and any condition or negation. Look closely at words such as 'not', 'unless', 'may' and 'must'. Check that a request has not become a promise. Copy names, model numbers, addresses and reference codes against the original character by character. A smoother sentence is not an improvement if it changes a deadline, responsibility or level of certainty.

Handle mixed languages deliberately

People often mix English technical terms into Urdu or Chinese messages. Preserve a product name or familiar abbreviation when translating it would make the message harder to understand. For a formal recipient, spell out the term once. Check Urdu right-to-left text beside Latin numbers and punctuation in the final app where you will share it; the visual order can differ from the editor's display. Read Chinese output in the intended script and region with help from a fluent reader where necessary.

Separate speech recognition from playback

In Voice mode, recognition creates a source transcript, translation creates target text, and the speaker button reads that result. Test these stages separately. Microphone permission does not guarantee that a browser has recognition for every language. An installed voice may read one language but not another. If the voice sounds wrong, inspect the written result before retrying the recording. Headphones can reduce the chance that the microphone hears the translated playback.

Review an AI email as an editable draft

For Email Writer, place the received email and your instructions in their own fields. State the answer you want to give, including anything that is not yet confirmed. For example, ask it to say that a report is unfinished without inventing a completion date. Review the subject, recipient, commitments and sign-off in the generated result. Nothing in the drafting tool should be treated as permission to send a message on your behalf.

Know when a second opinion is needed

Reading a translation back into the source language can reveal a problem, but it is not proof of accuracy. A second translation can repeat or conceal the first error. Ask a qualified reader or translator to review official, contractual or other consequential material. Online services receive the text needed to perform the request; do not enter secrets or confidential records just to test a phrase. Keep your source alongside the version you finally share.
